Don’t let the name fool you. She’s a girl. She just didn’t know how to spell her new name twenty-five years ago when God gave her this one. Like many biblical characters, God changed Andy’s (Andrea’s) name at a critical time in her life when she chose Jesus for a second and final time. It had been a lonely year without Him. Andy plunged into the waters of baptism and came out rubbing her hands together. She was ready to move forward with her calling and her faith never again to look back or deny her Savior.

Andy Lee has a bachelor of science in English and secondary education from Oklahoma State University. She also has a ministerial certificate degree from Eastern Nazarene University.

She has taught Bible studies for over twenty years. Her greatest passion is teaching her audience to dig into the ancient text, the Hebrew and Greek words which often lose meaning in translation. This method of study brings the Bible to life. Her most treasured resource isThe Key-Word Study Bible by AMG publishers. Andy gives these study Bibles away at speaking engagements, on her Facebook page, and her weekly blog. She is currently writing a Bible study on the book of Ruth for AMG publisher’s new Key Word Bible Study Series which will launch fall 2015.

Andy also desires to empower people to step out into their call from God whether to a neighbor or a nation. She knows that a life lived with eternal purpose is lived with joy even in the most difficult circumstances. This theme runs throughout her writing and messages at conferences, retreats, and workshops.

Her writing is award winning. Her first book, A Mary Like Me, won 1st place in unpublished nonfiction at BRMCWC, and an article for the web won 2nd place. Her Bible Study on Ruth also won 1st place at BRMCWC. She is endorsed by Eva Marie Everson and represented by the Blythe Daniel agency.

Andy is a Word Weavers International mentor. She spends many hours each week encouraging other writers and helping support presidents of Word Weaver chapters as well as others who want to launch new chapters in their communities.

She is published in Divine Moments, and

Her first Bible Study, A Key Word Bible Study on the  book of Ruth will be released fall of 2015.
